ok friday first.

happy birthday hy!

band prac! =D after three long weeks of waiting... feels so good to play my horn again! and the high notes are still more or less there thankfully. more triplets to play.. more high Gs and As to play =) yay. ok time to try playing high notes nicely. 12/8 time sig is driving me crazy. some pieces are really nice and fun. and there's one piece where the WHOLE of the 2nd movement is a horn solo! cry of the celts i think. its very nice. but i think we're not playing that anymore. hmm gonna try summore and work on some on monday =) i think he bought over 20 new pieces? or 30?

we played: cry of the celts. music from the incredibles. the star of dreams. monsters inc. superman. slavonic dances. greensleeves. omens of love. soar the untamed spirit. chautauqua. over teh rainbow. the rose. che sara. selections from grease. the rest cant rem. so many.

balloon hats fest here we come! =D "... its the first time scgs band has ever been invited to play in any... anything!" and sweelin reacted quite nicely to the news? haha

3 weeks since syf was over. but it is never the end. the ending of something is the beginning of another thing. was thinking quite a bit again about everything. few years back, now, and the future. how the band has progressed over the years and everything. the journey that got us here today. the road that we walked as a band and everything that happened in between. just the moment we screamed singapore conference hall down that day. when i saw those tears of joy, pride and satisfaction. the looks on our faces. seems like it's been a turning point for us. it's gonna be quite different in the future. changes made for things to run better. i think i see a brighter future for the next generations of the band. and i cant help but feel happy =)

and there's maddcap3 too! yup. its gonna be quite a lot of hardwork. its going to start getting intensive again. but i think it's going to be worth it. last one sec4s. expectations gonna be high and we gotta meet that. maintaining and going up. we shall do that together again once again, shant we.. =) bring the audi to live. heh.

this is just the beginning. the very very beginning of whatever is going to come next. we're embarking on yet another pursuit... and, it has just begun.

slept over at nny's hse with llama and it was quite havoc. laughed so much and it was yes fun! if only we could get our icecream right llama. and we went for lunch after that and walked around somemore. seriously its like we're so free to go out every weekend when we actly have lots to do. but nvm. need to enjoy life a bit.

this year, there are so many first times and records broken. shall list them down one fine day.
